Kelly Huo joined Peterson, Johnson & Murray in 2015 as an associate attorney. Ms. Huo concentrates her practice in municipal law and commercial transactions. Ms. Huo counsels municipal clients on day-to-day governance matters, planning and zoning, real estate, economic development, public finance, compliance and contract review and drafting.
Ms. Huo earned her J.D. from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2010. While in law school, Ms. Huo served as a research assistant to one of her law professors in the area of Property Law. She also served as a member and treasurer to the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Ms. Huo obtained her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 2011.
Prior to joining Peterson Johnson & Murray, Ms. Huo practiced in the areas of municipal law, commercial transactions and commercial real estate and lending. Ms. Huo is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
